Launch X431 V 8 inch user manual: How to register+ download SW?

This is a user manual for how to register Launch X431 V 8 inch Tablet and download car software when first use! Also below will demonstrate how use new Launch X431 V to fully diagnose VW.

Part I: Register Launch X431 V 8 inch Tablet

Power on the device and you need the password envelope to register Launch X431 V. The password envelope comes with the package as below:

Click on the red “X431 V” icon you will enter the main menu.

Click “Login” at the upper right corner.

Choose “New Registration” to continue.

Then you need to fulfill all information at the blanks including user name, password, email and region.

After that you click “Register”.

Now you need to do last step: active Launch X431 V.

It requires two codes, both you can find on the password envelope.

For the first blank check the front page of password envelope.

For the second blank check the back page of password envelope.

And then just click “Activate” button to complete Launch X431 V registration!

Part II: Download car software for Launch X431 V 8 inch Tablet

After successful registration, you will see a message “Do you want to download the diagnostic software now?” Click “Yes” and you start to download car software.

You can choose any car software to download, or just select all.

In this case, since we are going to diagnose VW car, we download VW car software first.

After download 100% complete. You can find VW software exists in the “European” section.

Now you can use Launch X431 V “VW Series V28.00 Full System” car software!

Part III: Launch X431 V 8 inch Tablet fully diagnose VW

Connect Launch X431 V 8 inch Tablet WIFI/Bluetooth with car via the VCI Box Connector.

Open “VW Series V28.00 Full System” car software, first you can do a quick test.

Launch X431 V scan and diagnose all car systems and modules.
